On Monday 29th May 1967, thousands of music fans travelled to the Tulip Bulb Auction Hall on Winfrey Avenue, Spalding, for what is widely regarded as one of Britain’s earliest major rock festivals.

Featuring an incredible line-up including The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, Pink Floyd, The Move, Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band and Zoot Money’s Big Roll Band, Barbeque ’67 has become an important part of British music history. It is often described as one of the first true rock festivals, taking place weeks before the famous Monterey Pop Festival in California
