Celebrate the golden age of American motoring with this American Muscle – Built for the Open Road handmade aluminium tin sign.
Featuring a striking metallic-style galloping horse against a deep vintage blue background, the design is inspired by the power, freedom and unmistakable character of 1960s American performance cars.
Distressed cream and blue racing stripes, aged edges and retro typography give the artwork the appearance of a well-loved old garage sign, while the raised-effect silver horse creates a wonderful centrepiece.
The wording “V8 Power • Est. 1960s”, “Built to Perform – Born to Run” and “Speed • Power • Freedom” completes the classic motoring look. The 1960s/V8 theme fits the traditional era associated with American muscle cars.
Designed and handmade at Shepherd Hut Studio in Lincolnshire, each sign is individually produced rather than factory mass-produced.
